Leviathan sat under a tree, leaning over his sketchbook as he drew a new picture. He let out a soft huff and dropped back onto Kasimir's side, earning a soft grunt and growl from the Hellcat. Chuckling softly, he patted Kasimir's head. "You'll be fine. I'm not that heavy, Kas." He looked back down at his sketch, lightly taking his pencil and going over a line that was already bolded as he thought.

Kailee had been busy all day exploring the school grounds since they were her new home, after all. She'd seen some interesting people, in both good and bad senses of the word, but she just knew this experience was going to be amazing. Her feline tail swayed from side to side happily as she hummed to herself, continuing her exploring. She was passing by a group of trees when she froze in place with her cat ears perked up and alert, then she squealed loudly, scurrying over to a particular tree with a boy and a rather large looking beautiful cat. "Ohhhhh, what a pretty kitty!" she said, completely ignoring the boy as she reached her hand out to scratch the Hellcat behind the ears, knowing that it was at least what SHE enjoyed.

Leviathan didn't bother to look at the girl as he replied, "I wouldn't do that. Kas doesn't like to be touched by others." Kasimir moved his head to the side, his ears slanting back as his eyes narrowed. He let out a soft huff, scooting back slightly and causing Leviathan to fall back some more. Leviathan mumbled under his breath and sat up, re-situating himself. "And he doesn't particularly like being called kitty. He's a Hellcat, not a House cat." he said as kindly as he could.

"Oh nonsense! Any kitty-cat is still a kitty-cat," she smiled, finally acknowledging the boy and taking his advice as she slowly withdrew her hand. "But a Hellcat? Wow, that's new," she commented as her own cat ears twitched curiously.

Leviathan shrugged slightly. "I've been with him since I was a toddler. So, having him around isn't anything new to be honest." Kasimir's tail swished, hitting the side of Leviathan's leg and causing him to glare at him. "Thanks, Kas. Watch where your tail is swishing, please." When Kasimir's tail hit him again, Leviathan sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "My name's Leviathan, by the way. And this is Kasimir, my Hellcat." he said, looking at Kailee with a slight smile.

"I'm Kailee. Always nice to meet new people," she said very matter-of-factly as she extended her hand to shake his politely, a greeting by which she was taught to live by since a young age.

Leviathan stared at her hand, shaking his head slightly with an apologetic look on his face. "Sorry, but...I don't shake hands..." he said softly, looking back up at her.

"Oh?" she asked, withdrawing her hand again with a confused expression on her face, her cat ears flattening against her head slightly in embarrassment. Wow, learning all these different cultures was going to be tougher than she thought. And not offending her fellow classmates was going to be even tougher. "Why is that?" she couldn't help but ask.

Twirling his pencil between his fingers, Leviathan sighed. "Because...I don't really...like physical contact." he mumbled. When Kasimir thwacked his leg again, he huffed softly. "And don't be...embarrassed about the hand shake thing. You...didn't know. Nor could have possibly known..." he rambled, stopping the pencil and then tapping the eraser on the top corner of his paper.

"Right, yeah...of course," Kailee agreed, nervously laughing off her mistake. She desperately looked for some way to change the subject. "Oh! What are you drawing?" she asked, trying to tilt her head to get a better look.

Leviathan stared down at his drawing. "It's nothing really. Just...something I made up. Nothing important." he said quickly, turning to a new page. Kasimir rolled his eyes and huffed, getting up and causing Leviathan to fall completely onto his back. Kasimir stretched then sat, a little bit of his magic showing itself as it swirled around him as he changed into his human form. Kasimir said, watching as Leviathan sat back up as he rubbed the back of his head.
